Rooted in the true essence of simplicity and efficacy - we develop essential products for the modern day consumer. Created with the most sensitive skin in mind, our products contain only the finest and purest ingredients that work in harmony with your skin.

Bringing you the best from science and nature, all of our key ingredients are carefully sourced and researched. Creating products to enhance natural beauty, with non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic formulations. Any ingredients with reputation of skin irritation we avoid completely. Some of these include:

Synthetic Fragrance
It is well understood from extensive research that fragrance is a common sensitizing ingredient for all skin types, whether natural or synthetic. Research has shown that synthetic fragrances are among the most common causes of skin sensitization and other negative skin reactions in skincare products. And this refers to all skin types, not just those with sensitive skin.

Essential Oils
While many essential oils and fragrant plant extracts do have beneficial skin properties, their volatility is not good for the skin as it is almost never understood their extraction, distillation process or their concentration. In modern years, the reality of how essential oils cause skin problems has been uncovered by modern science.

Drying Alcohols
(ethanol, methanol, ethyl alcohol, denatured alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, SD alcohol, and benzyl alcohol)
Alcohol can be extremely drying, especially if it’s in the top of the ingredient list. With constant use, the skin barrier may be disrupted and can result in red,  inflamed and aging skin. While we do not formulate with ethanol, methanol, ethyl alcohol, denatured alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, SD alcohol, and benzyl alcohol. Some fatty types of alcohol are super beneficial to your skin. Fatty alcohols like: cetyl, lanolin, stearyl, and cetearyl alcohols. These types of alcohols are derived from fats, and are in a total different category.

Citrus Extracts
(lemon, lime, tangerine, grapefruit, mandarin, and bergamot, etc.) Citrus extracts and oils cause skin irritation when exposed to light and air and raise the risk of sunburn and photosensitivity.

Synthetic Dyes
Artificial colors may increase the risk of discomfort, blocked pores, breakouts, and sensitivity when absorbed into our skin. Some artificial colors, however, are more detrimental than others.

Harsh Exfoliants
(pumice, aluminum oxide crystals, walnut shells, fruit pits)
When using a physical exfoliant might feel soft on day one, scrubbing too hard or using these products daily can damage the most outer layer of skin. Skin hypersensitivity, irritation, breakouts, and even skin stinging are some symptoms of over exfoliating.

SLS
It is understood that Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is one of the most sensitizing cleansing agents used in skincare products. It can extract natural oils from the skin that can cause dryness, inflammation and skin irritation.

Witch Hazel
The high tannin content in witch hazel, can cause sensitivity if used repeatedly on the skin. This astringent compresses natural proteins in your skin by drying and irritating your skin. Not to mention, witch hazel can be distilled with alcohol that can ultimately disrupt the skin barrier.
